Pressure drop in Nord Stream 2 tube - cause unclear

The Baltic Sea pipeline Nord Stream 2 has long been controversial - now there was a night-time incident in one of the tubes.

The reasons for the pressure loss on Monday night are not yet clear.
The Nord Stream 2 pipeline incident is being investigated.
Lubmin – According to the operator, there was a pressure drop in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline on Monday night.
A pressure loss was found in Tube A, and the responsible naval authorities in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Russia were informed immediately, said the spokesman for the pipeline operator Nord Stream 2 AG.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
