Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced that Moscow has repeatedly warned Washington that its support for Kiev is bringing it close to dangerous borders.
“We have sent warning signals to our American colleagues that their unrestrained and continuous mobilization of all forms of support for Kiev, including through their allies, is bringing us all to a dangerous point,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying during a television interview today. The increase, and we must constantly send signals to Washington to warn of any reckless steps, which are signs that confirm our strict adherence to our lines.”
Ryabkov pointed out that Russia is counting on the continuation of dialogue with the United States on the START Treaty, which may be the only remaining tool in this field, explaining that "this treaty provides predictability and relative stability regarding offensive nuclear weapons."
Ryabkov expressed his belief that "in the absence of a desire on the American side to get rid of all the remaining arms control agreements in the form in which they were formed, it will be possible to preserve at least some elements of this structure."
