Search odyssey with a painful end: Oktoberfest visitor ends up in the dog kennel – and is bitten

A Wiesn visitor lost a valuable on the chain carousel.
On his search, he enters closed areas and is bitten by a showman's dog.
Munich – During the Oktoberfest, the Theresienwiese in Munich is always the scene of strange events and incidents.
Oktoberfest visitors come up with some crazy ideas, especially when they are drunk – often to the annoyance of the families of the showmen.
Oktoberfest 2022: Visitors end up in the dog kennel
Oktoberfest is a place to have fun and drink beer.
Nevertheless, visitors should keep an eye on their belongings: the largest folk festival in the world also attracts thieves to the state capital time and time again.
Specially trained pickpocket investigators therefore traveled to Munich especially for the Oktoberfest.
However, the investigators are powerless when Oktoberfest visitors unintentionally lose their belongings themselves.
This is what happened to a previously unknown man who lost a personal item of value on a chain carousel ride around 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th.
Wiesn visitors bitten by a dog in the showmen's area
After the trip, the man gained access to a cordoned-off area of the showman's premises in a previously unknown way.
As the Munich police announced, the stranger climbed onto the caravan of a 49-year-old Oktoberfest showman.
In the further course of the search, the man fell into an associated kennel area of the owner of the car for unknown reasons.
A dog kept inside bit the unwanted visitor, who therefore sought medical treatment on site.
The unknown intruder then moved away and could no longer be found.
Nevertheless, the 49-year-old showman, together with a 28-year-old companion of the unknown Oktoberfest visitor, reported the incident to the Oktoberfest guard.
The search for an unknown man who hit a 30-year-old Briton on the head with a beer mug was also unsuccessful.
