Probably due to the start of school, but also because of the nearby Oktoberfest in Munich, the corona numbers in the Dachau district are increasing.
According to this, the so-called seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of corona cases per 100,000 inhabitants within the past seven days, was 259.2 in the Dachau district on September 19.
Since then, however, the value has risen rapidly: on September 20 it was already 272.1, on September 21 it was 323.6.
At the weekend, the incidence again exceeded the 400 mark: with 201 new corona infections reported yesterday, Monday, the incidence is now 401.4.
District office spokeswoman Sina Török emphasizes that “we have no information about exactly where people got infected”.
But one thing is certain: “The numbers are going up again.”
The situation at the Helios Amper Clinic is still relaxed
After all, the increase has not yet had an effect on the situation at the Helios Amper Clinic, as spokesman Marten Deseyve said when asked.
"We are currently caring for 17 patients with Covid-19 at the Helios Amper-Klinikum Dachau, three of them in intensive care," says Deseyve.
There was no upward trend in the hospital: “The number of patients treated with Covid-19 is subject to daily fluctuations, but is still at a low level.”
