The Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Education Alliance held the launching ceremony of the 2022 Science and Technology Lecture Hall at Pei Kiu Middle School today, and it will be held online with Beijing.

This year's Science and Technology Lecture Hall invited 24 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to provide one-on-one guidance and advice on science and technology education to 24 Hong Kong schools.

The "Science and Technology Lecture Hall" has been held since 2019. Scientists have been invited to provide popular science lectures for Hong Kong students to enhance students' interest in science and technology.
This year's "Science and Technology Innovation Lecture Hall" is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Liaison Office of the People's Republic of China, the Science Communication Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, hosted by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Education Alliance and the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hong Kong Federation of Educators, Lingnan University STEAM Co-organized by the Education and Research Center and Hong Kong Huaxia Education Institution.
This year's "Science and Technology Lecture Hall" set up a three-year "honorary lecturer in science education" in Hong Kong schools, and invited 24 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to serve as "honorary lecturers in science education" to provide one-on-one science and innovation to 24 Hong Kong schools Advice and guidance on the development of educational and school science community activities.
The ceremony consisted of a certificate-of-appreciation presentation.
