During the Oktoberfest, the Munich subways transport passengers every minute.
Both drunk Oktoberfest visitors and sober professionals.
This is where opposites collide.
Munich – The Wiesn is entering its 187th round and is attracting visitors from all over the world to Munich.
But not everyone is used to the strong festival beer, especially after the three-year break.
More than seven million liters of it were drunk at the Oktoberfest in 2019 - you need a good foundation and a strong stomach.
Oktoberfest 2022: Oktoberfest visitors flood public transport
After a successful and varied day at the Wiesn, the Oktoberfest visitors then head home - in the Bavarian state capital usually by public transport.
Departing by bus, subway or tram is certainly less stressful than, for example, by private car.
"Who knows the 'Oktoberfest'"?
– Battered Wiesn visitors cheer up public transport users
Many Wiesn visitors like to use the seats of the Munich public transport system for a short nap after a hard day.
Often an amusing sight for outsiders.
So did an English-speaking Twitter user.
The man discovered a Wiesn visitor on the way home in the Munich subway, who was apparently still pretty upset from the past few hours.
The user shared a photo of the scene on his profile.
He wrote about the photo: "Who knows the 'OKTOBERFEST'?
It's pretty cool to see all these drunk *****s sitting on the train and sleeping.” It is precisely these drunks that the amused subway driver describes with a vulgar expression that is common in his native language.
Another user was also enthusiastic about the snapshot and shared the post on his profile.

It is noticeable that the passengers in costume in the photo do not wear the masks prescribed in public transport.
The MVG recently admitted that the “discipline for wearing a mask” decreases significantly during Oktoberfest times.
Nevertheless, checks will continue and violations will be pointed out.
