A fire crew from the Hadera station worked on a car fire on Route 6 heading north before the Baca interchange.
The team, under the command of Major General Nati Bar On, extinguished the vehicle using special tools and prevented the fire from spreading to the adjacent field.
During the shutdown, the traffic on the road was stopped by the police and it has now been opened back to traffic.
