The Institute of Archeology at the Hungarian Pazmani Peter University is holding an important scientific conference on Near Eastern Archeology entitled “From Late Antiquity to the Ottoman Period in the Levant” in the Hungarian capital Budapest.
The conference, which will be held today and tomorrow, will be attended by Dr. Hammam Saad, Assistant Director General of Antiquities and Museums, “Director of Excavation and Archaeological Studies”, Dr. Kamit Abdullah, a professor at the Sorbonne University, and a large group of Syrian experts and researchers from the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Syria, in addition to a group of PhD students in the program The Hungarian Campaign for Scholarships.
The lectures of the participants in the conference include presentations of a group of important archaeological and historical findings and research that took place in Syria.
