A 60-year-old man was killed this evening (Tuesday) after being hit by a forklift that overturned on Gad Feinstein Road in Rehovot.

He was rescued by fire and rescue teams suffering from a severe head injury and all that was left was to determine his death on the spot.

MDA paramedic Shahar Hizkelevitz and MDA emergency medicine medic Shimon Paresh who were called to the scene said that they found the injured man trapped under the forklift, unconscious and with a severe head injury.
"We performed medical tests at the same time as the firefighters' rescue operations, but his injury was fatal and we had no choice but to determine his death," they said.
