However, in the early morning of the 10th, the defendant's parents jumped off the building and died. The defendant then notified his friends and called the police.

The defendant told his girlfriend about the suicide. He saw that his girlfriend had called his mother, but the mother did not answer the phone because her mother had made up her mind and did not need to discuss it any further.
Mother jumps first, father follows
After they returned home, in the early morning of the 10th, their mother called a friend, and then the three went to the rooftop. He and his father helped his mother climb onto the chair. The mother jumped first, and then the father jumped. However, his father said to the defendant, "My two (the defendant's mother and father) are going to have to fight. If you stay here and return to the city, you will be less stressed and live a good life." After that, his father also jumped out down and made a loud noise.
The defendant said he was shocked when he saw his parents jumping off, but did not commit suicide in the end.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after and confirmed that his father died at the scene, and his mother was also confirmed dead after being sent to the hospital.
The two deceased died yesterday after falling from the roof of a building in Yuen Long.
