Dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Al-Bireh participated today in a sit-down, in support of the Palestinian prisoners who are on hunger strike, in protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.
Wafa news agency reported that the participants in the stand organized by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city, raised pictures of the thirty prisoners who are on an open hunger strike for the third day in a row, and a picture of the cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.
The participants chanted slogans denouncing the violations of the occupation against the prisoners, and calling for international intervention to pressure the occupation, to release all prisoners, especially the sick among them.
