The Ministry of the Interior of the Turkish regime announced today that a policeman was killed and another wounded, during clashes between policemen and PKK militants in the city of Mersin, southern Turkey.
The Anadolu Agency, the Turkish regime’s spokeswoman, quoted the regime’s Interior Minister, Suleiman Soylu, as saying that “a policeman was killed and another wounded, in an attack on a police headquarters in the Mezitli district of Mersin,” adding that “the perpetrators of the attack are two women belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.”
He added: Clashes took place between the two attackers and the security forces, which resulted in wounding them before they blew themselves up.
