Baggage car driver damaged Airbus: major property damage, passengers have to change

An inattentive luggage trolley driver caused an accident at Munich Airport on Monday, in which an Airbus was damaged.

A careless baggage cart driver damaged an Airbus at Munich Airport that was supposed to take off for Brussels.
As a result, the whole thing didn’t go as planned for the passengers.
Munich Airport - A damaging chain of unfortunate circumstances occurred on Monday at Munich Airport.
As reported by the Munich Airport Police Inspectorate, a 29-year-old baggage cart driver accidentally bumped into a baggage conveyor belt with the last of his four trailers.
This was displaced by the impact and in turn crashed into a parked passenger aircraft, an Airbus A319-100.
Its right engine and cargo hold were damaged.
According to initial estimates, the damage amounts to around 100,000 euros.
According to the police, there was no danger to the passengers.
However, the passengers had to start their journey to Brussels on a replacement aircraft.
