Car against container: driver seriously injured

In a serious accident near Oberpframmern (Ebersberg district), a car collided with a container.
Oberpframmern
- A 54-year-old from the southern district of Ebersberg was seriously injured on Monday evening, September 26, in an accident near Esterndorf (Oberpframmern municipality).
According to the police, the man left the road with his BMW around 7:20 p.m. for unknown reasons.
Collision with container: driver seriously injured, but not in danger of life
Unfortunately, his vehicle hit an off-road container there, officials said.
The driver was seriously injured in the collision.
Fire and rescue services freed him from his car.
A rescue helicopter took the man to a specialist clinic.
According to the police report, he was apparently not in mortal danger on Monday evening.
Major property damage to the accident car
The police estimate the material damage to the accident BMW at 40,000 euros.
The container and a trailer parked next to it were also damaged.
In addition to the police forces, the fire brigades from Glonn and Oberpframmern, an ambulance, an emergency doctor and a rescue helicopter were also involved in the operation.
The investigations into the cause of the traffic accident were taken over by the Ebersberg Police Inspectorate.
