Just earlier, Sai Kung and Sheung Shui Fanling brought a super strong rocky lake wind, causing the death of a young woman. At that time, the woman was doing canoeing activities in the area outside Sha Ha, Sai Kung, but in the face of the relentless weather, she fell. Hai was in a coma and was awake for a while after being sent to the hospital, but unfortunately passed away in the end.

What exactly is Shihufeng?

According to the interpretation of the Shihu wind by the Observatory, it is a strong gust of wind caused by a squall line, and a strong thunderstorm belt composed of multiple thunderstorm areas or individual thunderstorms. The wind speed, sudden change of wind direction, heavy rain, thunderstorms, and even hail and tornadoes, so for people working outdoors and at sea, the Shihu wind is quite a headache.

If you have a wealth of outdoor experience, you will probably know the omen of the Shihu wind. Whenever the Shihu wind is about to come, there will be a strong strange wind. This strange wind is strong and shady, and it comes suddenly, about Ten minutes later, the Shihu wind will appear.

Therefore, whenever you are hiking or doing water sports, you should immediately avoid the limelight when you notice the sudden strange wind and judge the weather.

Immediately hide in the shelter, because the thunderstorm brought by the wind from the stone lake is quite ferocious, and the lightning flash and thunder can occur at the same time, so immediately hide in a safe place, such as man-made buildings, large rock bottoms, and dense forests.

Never in an open place or under a single tree, otherwise it will be more fortunate than good fortune.

Away from the rocky streams, back to the trails!

The heavy rain brought by the Shihu wind greatly increased the amount of water in the rocky stream, and the water level rose in a short period of time. There was even a warning of yellow muddy water, followed by a landslide.

Wait patiently, usually the Shihu wind doesn't last long, 15 minutes short, half an hour long, wait for the weather to improve a little, then evacuate, remember that the mountain is always there!
