Many travelers spending time at Khokok beach in the Kinneret were evacuated today (Tuesday) by fire and rescue forces that arrived at the scene following a large fire that broke out in the area.
Five firefighting teams from the Tiberias station, with the help of four firefighting planes, are working to control the fire, which broke out between the popular Khokhok and Ginoser beaches.
The fire, which caused a lot of smoke in the area, has not yet been brought under control.

The firefighters who arrived at the scene of the arson are operating in several sectors and are working to protect a nursing home, a parking lot and a grove located near the scene.
