Today, the firefighting system in Lattakia put out a fire that broke out in the village of Marj Khokha, in the Salma district of Lattakia countryside.
The head of the Forestry Department in the Lattakia Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Jaber Sukour, told SANA reporter that the fire erupted on an area of 15 dunums of barren agricultural land that contains thorns and herbaceous plants.
Suqur indicated that the fire was brought under control with the participation of the Al-Haffah Firefighting Brigade, and the army personnel stationed in that area.
