The Glonnspring Riflemen have been shooting for half a century.
The association from Mittelstetten has now celebrated its 50th anniversary – for a day with local and sponsor associations.
"It was excellent because we didn't have a single drop of rain until the end," said cashier Erwin Lauchner.
Mittelstetten - A total of 16 clubs - 13 from the village and three sponsored clubs - marched on Sunday morning to the Church of St. Silvester.
There, Pastor Anton Brandstetter celebrated the festival service and blessed the freshly restored club flag.
He also inaugurated a new flag ribbon donated by the Schützen board.
The parade, led by the Althegnenberg music club, then moved to the clubhouse near the sports grounds.
There was lunch, greetings and awards.
Anton Lorchheim, who was chairman for 30 years, was appointed honorary marksman champion and received a high badge from the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association.
Anni Leitmeier became an honorary member.
She was vice president for 27 years.

The highlight of the celebrations was the appearance of the 27 firecrackers from various shooting clubs in the area.
These fired seven salvos.
"People were really excited," says Lauchner.
The day ended with coffee and cake.
The Glonnquell riflemen were founded on November 27th, 1972. First they shot in a pigsty that had been converted into a shooting range.
In 2005 the club got a new home together with the Grashoppers.
For this purpose, the old clubhouse was bought by Landsberied and rebuilt on the sports field in Mittelstetten - in around 7000 hours of voluntary work.
In addition to shooting, the rifle club is also active in other ways.
There has been a theater group since 1987, and waste paper has been collected four times a year since 1992 to fill the association's coffers.
There is also an Advent market.
