A tragedy may have been narrowly avoided.
This Monday afternoon, the city of Brunoy (Essonne) is on the alert.
The authorities have their eyes riveted on the exit of Talma high school, the scene of a violent brawl last Friday.
In a WhatsApp loop dedicated to brawls, a message reports the presence of young suspects hanging around the establishment.
On this loop, school staff, animators, the town hall and the police communicate in order to prevent clashes between gangs.
According to a police source, a "dynamic patrol" sets out to check them around 5 p.m.
Two adults and three minors are arrested in possession of three knives and a tear gas canister, confirms the prosecution of Evry-Courcouronnes on Tuesday.
They were remanded in custody.
These young people, from the Tournelles district, in Yerres, were probably planning to do battle with other young people from Hautes-Mardelles, in Brunoy.
Thirty young people clashed last Friday
According to a source close to the investigation, it could be the "return match" last Friday.
Around 5 p.m., at the end of class, around thirty young people clashed, in particular with mortar fireworks at the Talma shopping center and bus stops very popular with high school students.
The police intervened using their defense bullet launchers and tear gas canisters to disperse the belligerents.
Several weapons were recovered from the ground, including hammers and window breakers.
A young man from Mardelles was slightly injured.
