On this Wednesday morning, about thirty students are attending a course whose title is displayed on a large screen: “Integrating sustainability into my design projects”.
With attentive ears, they listen to the presentation by Maud Rio, lecturer at the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), who invites them
“to question themselves about the use of technologies in our society”
.
“As a designer, you have a responsibility
,” she continues.
Following a course within Grenoble INP - UGA which brings together 8 public engineering and management schools, the students joined a unique training course in France two weeks ago which aims to rethink their future engineering profession at the in the light of current social and environmental issues.
