Iraqi forces arrested a terrorist in Anbar province, west of the country.
A statement by the Security Media Cell, carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that, based on accurate intelligence information, a terrorist from the "ISIS" organization was arrested, during a security operation that took place in Anbar Governorate, indicating that the arrested was handed over to the judicial authorities.
Yesterday, the joint Iraqi forces announced the launch of a large-scale security operation in Nineveh Governorate, in the north of the country, to hunt down the remnants of ISIS terrorists.
