Today, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the arrest of two cells, including 12 rioters and saboteurs, in the northern province of Gilan.
The Revolutionary Guards explained in a statement that the two cells were working to attract, gather and organize secretly to carry out sabotage operations, and they were planning to attack sensitive government and military centers and incite riots again in the cities of Gilan Province.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards' deputy, Admiral Ali Fadwa, announced a few days ago that Tehran had obtained evidence showing the interference of several countries, including the United States, France and Britain, in provoking the recent riots and violence in the country.
