Ismaning's oldest kindergarten celebrated its birthday, and a child from the very beginning was the guest of honor at the celebration in the courtyard of the parish center;
Mayor Alexander Greulich.
Ismaning
- The Catholic kindergarten St. Johann Baptist has been around for 50 years.
A certain Alexander Greulich was there with the first children, who now congratulated him as mayor.
Ex-child Greulich was able to confirm that the kindergarten in the Isarau is an important part of Ismaning and started operating even before the municipal kindergarten in Dorfstraße.
Diversity of care for the Ismaninger families
Today, the mayor found that the Catholic kindergarten in the Isarau and the Protestant children's home on Seidl-Kreuz-Weg, together with the municipal facilities, offer a variety of care for the Ismaninger families.
Just in time for the birthday, the kindergarten on Unterföhringer Straße is once again well prepared for the next 50 years.
Manager Dagmar Lenden is proud of her team
In the meantime, the facility has been relocated near the ice pond for the construction of the new kindergarten.
The two-storey building was occupied in 2017 and that was a stroke of luck for the house.
"During the Corona years, we also had the space to straighten everything out," says director Dagmar Lenden.
Around 80 children are currently attending the four-group kindergarten, which offers space for a maximum of 100 children.
Lenden assumes that the admission process, which only started this month, will mean that the facility will soon be completely full.

The director of Ismaning's oldest kindergarten is also very proud of her good and full team.
That rounded off the picture of the jubilee day, which was celebrated with a church service and a colorful festival including dancing with the traditional costume association D'Roaga Buam.
Pastor Markus Brunner tapped the first keg of beer.
Alexander Greulich, a kindergarten child from the very beginning, held the barrel. And who knows how many future mayors will attend the kindergarten at a young age.
