Italian observers at the referendum centers in Moscow, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics praised the transparency of voting in the Donbass republics of eastern Ukraine, Kherson provinces and Zaporozhye in the south.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted observers as saying, after the referendums took place in both the Moscow region and the Donbass republics: that very good conditions for voting were created everywhere.
The President of the Russian Federation Council, Valentino Matvienko, announced that the Russian parliament will consider, on the 4th of next October, the acceptance of the accession of the republics of Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia in the event that the result of the referendums is positive.
