Man shot in Cologne: White Lamborghini secured at the scene

A man was seriously injured by a shot in the Höhenberg district of Cologne.

The man was taken to a hospital.

Cologne – In Höhenberg (Cologne-Kalk district), a 31-year-old man was seriously injured by a shot in the leg on Monday evening (September 26).

At the hospital, doctors removed the projectile, which is now being forensically examined.

In the evening, criminalists secured evidence at the cordoned off crime scene and secured several bullet casings and a white Lamborghini, with which the injured person claims to have come to the crime scene.

The police are urgently looking for witnesses to the incident, reports 24RHEIN.

According to initial findings, a white Audi R8 drove away from the scene of the crime around 9:30 p.m. immediately after the shot was fired.

Police officers stopped the conspicuous luxury sports car on the corner of Frankfurter Strasse and Fuldaer Strasse.

There were three men (27, 43, 48) in the Audi, against whom there is no concrete suspicion according to the current status of the investigation.

However, the results of the investigations to prove that the three vehicle occupants had been shot are still pending.

Investigators seized the car and the mobile phones of the vehicle occupants and a relative of the injured person who appeared at the scene.

After a shot in Cologne-Höhenberg – is the case related to an argument in Vingst?

It is currently being examined whether the incident is related to an argument prevented by the police from the previous day (September 25) in Cologne-Vingst.

Witnesses had called the police around 9 p.m. because of eight aggressive men at the intersection of Würzburger Strasse and Ostheimer Strasse.

During the check, police officers seized two sharp firearms and arrested a 20-year-old.

On September 26, an investigating judge ordered the prisoner to be held in custody for the weapons offence.
