On the occasion of the International Day of Heart Patients, the health department at the Ain Al-Zaman Charitable Center in Sweida today organized an event entitled (My Heart is Your Heart), as part of efforts to provide more free health services to citizens.
The event, which was held in cooperation with the International Pharmaceutical Industries Unipharma, included providing consultations and consultations by volunteer specialist doctors, and distributing heart medicines free of charge for a month for each patient according to his condition.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Nadia Al-Bahri, the head of the health department at the center, explained that the event targeted between 150 and 200 patients as part of the center’s efforts to provide free services, which have exceeded more than 12,000 services since the beginning of this year.
In turn, many patients noted the importance of this initiative under the current circumstances, to help them secure some medications and conduct examinations.
It is noteworthy that the health department at the Maqam Ain al-Zaman Center was established in 2014 through a group of clinics with specializations in ophthalmology, dental, gynecology, cardiology, children, neurology, glands, diabetes, and others, in addition to a pharmacy and a physical therapy room, with the provision of a number of medical devices for planning the nerve, the brain, endoscopy of the larynx and pharynx.
