This is the provisional record of a car accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 27, around noon on State Road 2063 between Iffeldorf and Seeshaupt.

The road remained closed for several hours.

As a spokesman for the Penzberg police said at the scene of the accident, a truck with a trailer was on its way from Iffeldorf towards Seeshaupt around noon.

Because it was wet, the trailer left the lane in a right-hand bend and ended up in the oncoming lane.

There he collided with a white pickup truck that was coming from the direction of Seeshaupt.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries in the accident, according to police.

He came to the hospital.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Seeshaupt fire brigade with several vehicles on site

In the early afternoon, the police could not say whether, in addition to the wet road, excessive speed had also led to the accident.

There was also no further information about the amount of damage caused or the identity of the two drivers.

However, the road remained closed for the next few hours due to clean-up work.

According to a spokesman for the Seeshaupt fire brigade, which had responded to the accident with several vehicles, the closure is expected to last until around 5 p.m.
