The Diploma in Film Sciences and Arts continues its activities for the seventh consecutive season, by providing cinematic life and television production in Syria with qualified young energies, to be the nucleus of a renewed art, drawing attention to a wide range of diverse youth capabilities in this field.
As part of the diploma activities and in the course of practical exercises in directing by Professor Ayham Arsan, the student Muhammad Mishnati presented his training project, embodied in a film entitled “Paths”.
Director Ayham Arsan, who studies international film schools and directing practical training in the diploma, told SANA Youth Bulletin: In the film, we listen to stories about life stages and paths that a group of professors and artists went through, whom Mishnati met during his studies of cinematography.
The film is an idea and directed by Muhammad Mishnati and starring Samir Jabr, Ayham Arsan, Saba Tohma Ghazul, Louay Khader, sang by Maarouf and Muhammad Mishnati.
The diploma in cinematography and arts, launched in 2015, comes within the projects directed to young people, implemented by the General Film Organization, and includes lectures in cinema over an entire academic season for eight months with the aim of establishing a higher academic cinematic study in Syria provided by experiences from the first cinematic class, as it grants The amateur student has knowledge and experience through two theoretical and practical approaches, in the second of which he completes a training film, through which he translates his hypotheses, and tests what he has learned from science, art and knowledge, which contributes to creating the appropriate conditions for talented people and owners of talents and to work with them, by providing them with appropriate opportunities to express their talents and highlight their their abilities
