The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission called on international organizations, human rights institutions, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its attacks on the Palestinians, and to release the prisoners, especially the sick, children and adolescents.
The Commission confirmed that the occupation continues its practices that amount to war crimes against the Palestinians, including continuous arrests, torture, killing, abuse, and violations of the rights of prisoners, especially children and adolescents, which contradict all international conventions, norms and laws on this.
The commission indicated that the two captured boys, Diyar Evan Salibi, 16, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and Ahmed Ziyad Saleh Nimr, 17, from the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, are still subjected to various types of physical and psychological torture, since the moment of their arrest, and they are currently in detention.
