In a case that occurred in early August, the police are now looking for a man with photos.

He is said to be responsible for a sex crime.

Würzburg – On August 5th, a sexual offense occurred in a men's toilet in a Würzburg cocktail bar.

The previously unknown suspect was recorded by a surveillance camera.

Now the police are looking for the young man with photos and asking the population for information.

The criminal police also published a detailed description of the person.

Sexual offense in Würzburg: Kripo is publicly looking for suspects

At around 1:30 a.m. on Friday morning, August 5, the victim was pulled into the men's toilet by the suspect in a cocktail bar in Würzburg.

According to the current police findings, the man is said to have performed sexual acts on her there against her will.

The young woman then left the location and then confided in a friend.

When the case later became known to the police, the suspect had already fled in an unknown direction, according to the police press release.

In the course of the investigation that followed, footage from a surveillance camera showing the suspected perpetrator was secured.

According to the police description, the suspect is about 1.75 meters tall, wears glasses and is of average build.

A detailed description of the person was also published in connection with the photos.

The man is described as follows:

• About 25 to 30 years old, about 175 centimeters tall and of average build.

• Slightly dark complexion and "dark, medium-length and wavy hair".

• He wore glasses and wore a "black and orange baseball cap with a print" on his head.

• The suspect was dressed in a blue polo shirt with white stripes, dark three-quarter pants and white shoes.

• He carried a light blue/grey backpack and was fluent in Spanish and German with a foreign accent.

The act happened on Friday, August 5, around 1:30 a.m. in the Würzburg club "La Bamba" in the men's toilet.

According to witnesses, the police report, the young man is believed to be of South American origin.

The police are now asking people who know the person in the photos or who can “give other relevant information” to contact the Würzburg criminal police.
