A source in the Russian Security Service reported that two people from a Ukrainian subversive reconnaissance group had been detained in the Kherson region, who had collected information about the Russian army and participated in the preparation of terrorist acts in the region.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, the source said that between March and May, these two saboteurs handed over intelligence information about the movement and deployment of Russian forces, armored personnel and aircraft at Chernobyvka Airport in the Kherson region to the person responsible for their activity, and they also threw a Molotov cocktail at the building of the former recruitment center in Kherson.
The source indicated that the saboteurs transported explosives and planted explosive devices in several areas to target civilians and Russian forces in Kherson.
On the other hand, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporozhye District Administration, said that the Ukrainian forces may make attempts to launch an attack in the Energodar region and its environs.
"The militants of the Kyiv regime may attempt an attack by carrying out a crossing of the Dnieper River in the Kamenka-Dniprovskaya region, Energodar and its environs and the village of Ivanovka ... They are also planning to capture the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant," added Rogov, who heads the "We are with Russia" movement.
Rogov noted that the allied forces had already repelled several attempts to land Ukrainian forces, including by using aircraft in the region, and said: "We are aware of the enemy's plans and are ready to defend our land."
