Seizing a gas station and violating diesel distributors in Damascus countryside

Elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside seized a fuel station, which trades in diesel and gasoline, and distributors of subsidized diesel, deceiving packaging, bakeries and bread makers in violation, and a dairy and cheese factory, containing spoiled foodstuffs.

The directorate clarified in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that a gas station in Maaraba was seized for violating the presence of an excess amount of diesel and gasoline from the station’s balance with the intention of trading in it, and the violator was fined 13,210,500 Syrian pounds.

Distributors of subsidized heating oil in Husseiniya were also arrested for violating packaging fraud, and a quantity of 5,300 liters was seized, and the violators were fined 39,750,000 pounds, in addition to a violation of a dairy and cheese factory in Douma for possession of spoiled food.

The statement indicated that two bakeries were seized in Al-Sayeda Zainab for violating the weight of bundles of bread, and violators were fined 3,441,900 liras, and people in Duma were violating the trade in ration bread and collecting cards. The value of the fine is 18,854.210 pounds.
