A senior in Freiberg am Neckar (Ludwigsburg district) drove backwards onto the railing of a railway station underpass and got stuck.

According to the police, the rear of the 91-year-old's car protruded over the stairs on Tuesday morning and had to be recovered.

According to initial findings, the driver was probably unharmed, a spokeswoman said.

Freiberg am Neckar – It was initially unclear why he reversed across the station forecourt and crashed into the railing.

There was damage of around 20,000 euros.

The police initially stated that the driver had reversed his car down the underpass stairs and later corrected their report.
