Local disturbances broke out tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) in several locations in East Jerusalem.
In the neighborhoods of Salwan, Ras Al-Amud and Tor, young people rioted in the streets and threw stones at policemen while shooting fireworks at them.
The security forces responded with measures to disperse demonstrations that included tear gas and stun grenades.
This was reported by Palestinian sources.
It was also reported that the forces made several arrests as well as issued removal orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque to several residents.

Violent clashes have also been seen in the Tzur Bahar neighborhood, which until now was outside the circle of conflicts, in recent days.
Young people burned tires and blocked one of the roads.
The Palestinians reported that this was preceded by the arrest of one of the neighborhood's youths by the forces.
Police forces arrived at the scene and began chasing the rioters.

In the village of Issawiya in the north of the capital, young people rioted when the police forces entered the neighborhood.
They violated the order and blocked several traffic routes to make it difficult for the forces to operate.
