A student who wanted to cross the street on Schleißheimer Straße (B471) in Hochbrück away from the traffic lights and was hit by a car suffered serious injuries.

A helicopter landed.

Garching

- On Monday shortly before 4 p.m., a 17-year-old student from the Munich district wanted to cross Schleißheimer Straße (B471) in Hochbrück near Voithstraße.

According to the police, he did not choose the traffic light crossing, but stepped a little further onto the street - when the pedestrian traffic light was red.

Toyota captures the student head-on

The young man was hit head-on by a Toyota.

The driver, a 26-year-old from Munich, was no longer able to stop or swerve.

The student was seriously injured, according to the police, fortunately, there is no danger to life.

A rescue helicopter landed, but the injured person was ultimately taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
