On the Observatory's Facebook page, some members of the public commented that the tremors were also felt in Clear Water Bay and Western District.

According to the China Earthquake Networks, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake was recorded in the waters of Huidong County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province.

The Hong Kong Observatory received reports from more than 100 members of the public that they felt a slight tremor that lasted for several seconds.
