Various events and performances and rising talents that have proven their worth on the stage of Dar Al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia, as part of the theatrical festival held by the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Union branch, on the occasion of the organization's fifty-fourth anniversary.

The five performances that were shown at the festival came from the efforts of young people who are full of life, able to instill a smile and hope, believing in their acting abilities that have undergone training and rehabilitation over months, in order to present theatrical scripts that mimic reality and bring it closer in an attempt to correct mistakes.

In statements to SANA, Ahmed al-Qamsha, head of the artistic activities office at the Revolutionary Youth Union branch in Latakia, stressed the importance of the youth theater festival, and the need to focus on the talents of young people, and to prove their abilities and insistence on highlighting their talents, pointing to the organization's keenness to rehabilitate, refine and train young actors and enable them to perform theatrical art, and how to appear Well-acted and well-presented.

The third and last day of the festival witnessed a theatrical performance entitled “Nudes”, under the supervision of the Qardaha Association, and directed by Yazan Amr, who indicated in a similar statement that he is undergoing his first directing experience, which formed a strong motivation for him and a challenge with himself, indicating that the idea of ​​work talks about the reality of companies and an attempt to fight corruption and the corrupt. Expose their fake masks.

The actor Hussein Muhanna and Ahmed Khushof considered that the theater is the second home, and that standing on its stage is a sacred thing that has its charm and attractiveness.

Jaafar Muhammad Manna, a dancer in the Ugarit troupe, and a theater actor in the Al-Yasar troupe expressed his happiness with this participation as a trainer and choreographer who presented in the play, considering that the stage motivates the actor to present and show his creativity in the best way.

The festival concluded with the fifth theatrical performance, which was titled “My Husband Smiling”, directed by Nour Al-Faisal as her first directorial experience, and the text was written by Iraqi writer Youssef Al-Ani, and supervised by the Association of Martyr Mahmoud Shehadeh Khalil.

From the director's point of view, the text talks about exploitation and greed, and shows the end of greed and injustice, stressing the importance of the role of strong women who defy difficult circumstances and reject error, to prove their personality and fortify themselves from all harm, and resist the challenges they face in life.

Actors Khaled Mona and Karam Nibal Shehadeh pointed out the importance of the festival, which allowed them to highlight and enhance their talent through direct contact with the audience, which makes the actor enthusiastic and directly touches the results.
