Expected for months, the report of the regional chamber of accounts on the state of the municipal museums of Marseilles finally fell.
Mainly concerning the Gaudin era from 2012, it is bloody.
According to the Marsactu site, the report denounces museums
“without a scientific and cultural project, without clear objectives, without a timetable for implementation, or evaluation indicators”
.
Worse: the magistrates note that the museums of Marseille are "
a financial abyss"
generating
"marginal revenue"
due, among other things,
"to an erratic pricing policy".
They denounce
“a management of human resources marked by the concessions made to the agents”
.
The management of the workforce, they believe,
"is part of an almost permanent balance of power with the community which yields most often".
In other words,
“the organization of work aims for social peace”
and this, to the detriment of the public confronted with closed doors.
