With the participation of 35 wounded people, the Wounded Home Project in Homs, in cooperation with the Information and Communication Technology Incubator at the Syrian Scientific Informatics Society, carried out a workshop on entrepreneurship and the role of technology in promoting entrepreneurship.

The director of the wounded home project in Homs Ahed Muhammad explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the workshop sheds light on pioneering projects, in addition to the role of technology and investment of technology to develop existing projects in Jarhana, so that the wounded person and his project would have a leading role in the community, pointing to the possibility of the wounded joining the incubator in the form of teams that work on Creating applications and programming, especially that most of the workshop participants are owners of projects and scientific certificates that have a leading role.

Director of the Information and Communications Technology Incubator in Homs, Engineer Hala Jahjah, explained that the incubator is part of the projects of the Informatics Association, in cooperation with Al-Baath University, and is working to attract the wounded category to join the incubator, receive ideas and pioneer projects and invest them, to become a profitable project, and provide all forms of support and scientific and technical advice necessary for project owners. .

During the workshop, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jassem, at the Faculty of Economics at Al-Baath University, gave a lecture on entrepreneurship skills, in which he focused on the completion of entrepreneurial projects and the steps for their full implementation, starting from converting the idea into a product, and ending with marketing it according to the needs of the market and consumers.

While Eng. Abdullah Al-Jundi from the Syrian Virtual University, specializing in artificial intelligence, gave an explanation of the role of technology in entrepreneurship, reviewing some pioneering projects to motivate participants and integrate entrepreneurship with technology and how to use it.

A number of the wounded pointed out that their visit to the incubator and getting acquainted with it through a field tour in its departments was fruitful, and the distinctive ideas presented in the workshop were used to work on implementing them in pioneering projects in the future.
