Today, the Syrian Company for the manufacture of grapes in Sweida transferred the amount of one billion Syrian pounds to the account of the Farmers' Union in the Commercial Bank, to be disbursed to farmers in return for the prices of the juicy grapes supplied by them to the company.
The aforementioned amount, according to the company's general manager, Engineer Fadi Choucair, will be added to more than 2 billion pounds that have been transferred since the start of the season, in proportion to the quantities delivered to the company, which exceeded, three weeks after the start of the marketing season, about 4,000 tons.
The Syrian company for the manufacture of grapes in As-Suwayda set the price for receiving one kilogram from farmers for white grapes at 1,000 pounds, and for black grapes at 1,200 pounds.
