The market town of Wartenberg honored particularly good school degrees at a reception in the traditional costume barn.

Wartenberg – The past school year demanded a lot from all students, parents and teachers, said Mayor Christian Pröbst.

The eight students got their excellent degree in a time of Corona and the Ukraine war.

"That's why they belong to a very special vintage."

The mayor also thanked the participating schools and their sensitive teachers.

Pröbst then spoke about the investments that the Marie Pettenbeck School will have to make when it expands soon.

Addressing the students, Pröbst said: “You have invested a lot of time and energy in your degree so far.

Also in the future you will have to invest time and energy in your continued success in order to be successful.”

Then Pröbst, together with the 3rd mayor Bernd Scheumaier and the mayor's assistant, Madlen Bela, attended the awards ceremony.

There were 200 euros, a certificate and chocolates for the graduates.

The honorees:

Maximilian Angermeier (Herzog-Tassilo-Realschule Erding/HTRS, grade point average 1.5, secondary school certificate), Nils Geck (HTRS, 1.3, secondary school certificate), Lisa Marie Hausser (Korbinian-Aigner-Gymnasium, 1.9, high school diploma), Philomena Hintermaier (girls' secondary school Heilig Blut Erding/MRS, 1.8, secondary school certificate), Amelie Schultz (Marie-Pettenbeck middle school, 1.2, qualified secondary school certificate), Frederik Stöckel (HTRS,1.7, secondary school certificate), Anna Katharina Kretz (MRS,1.9, secondary school certificate) and Jakob Schmidmüller (Marie-Pettenbeck-Mittelschule 1.6, qualified secondary school certificate).
