Drug dealers in Israel recently started using the image of waitress Ofira Essig and named a package of cocaine after her.
Essig's face, known by them as the "Queen of Coke", has recently begun to appear on boxes and brands that are sold unhindered on Telegram channels and other networks by direct mail to the Israeli public.
According to Assig, who complained to the police, her image appears on flyers distributed throughout Tel Aviv.
"I filed a complaint with the police, and I trust them to find the criminals who allow themselves a little too much," Essig told Walla!.
The police informed that a complaint was received and it is being examined and treated accordingly.
This is not the first time that drug dealers and operators of Telegram channels target celebrities and appropriate their names in order to market their illegal products.
Like for example the singer Muki whose name and pictures appear, without his knowledge and consent, on bags and packages containing various drugs.
