Last night, single passengers boarded the train running on the track between Acre and Karmiel. "I read about what happened but I didn't internalize it until I got on the train - and I went into a bit of a shock. Now I regret that I got on but what will we do" said one of the passengers on the line. "It's scary but what choice do we have"?

Single passengers boarded last night (Tuesday), at the end of the Rosh Hashanah holiday, on the train running on the track between Acre and Karmiel.

This, about two days after the discovery of an obstacle placed on the railroad tracks in this section.

"The country became scary," said Malka, 50, who traveled by train from Ramat Yishai to Karmiel.

"I read about what happened but I didn't internalize it until I got on the train - and I went into a bit of a shock. Now I regret being on the train, but what are we going to do."

The major disaster was averted on Monday, with the detection of the engineered accessory on the tracks.

No injuries or damage were reported in the incident.

An Israeli Arab in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of the act - but was released a day after his arrest.

Meanwhile, as part of the Shin Bet's investigation, attempts are being made to locate additional suspects involved in the planning of the attack, the purpose of which was to derail the train while it was traveling at the end of the holiday.

"What choice do we have?".

"Probably God loves us, protected us during the holiday and removed this decree from us," Malka added.

"If they hadn't caught it, we would have gone to Pipen. I read a psalm to give thanks to the Creator of the world."

16-year-old Dana sat across from Malka on her train ride and joined in the conversation.

"It's not good and it's scary, but what choice do we have?" she said.

"Let's hope for the best".

On the other hand, some have boarded the train lines that run along the track between Acre and Karmiel - and did not express fear or concern about the journey.

"There is apprehension, but there is apprehension in the whole country," said Gaya Nagar, 23 years old from Hadera, who traveled on the first train to Karmiel.

"I am a former Israeli army police officer and I trust the railway employees and the security forces who must have checked before the trip."

Masha, a 25-year-old resident of Karmiel, traveled by train from the city on her way to vacation in Sinai and said that she is not afraid of the trip either. "The family was worried when they heard that I was getting on the train." she said. "Father immediately volunteered to drive me to Haifa - but I don't like to bother." Menachem Mendel and Haya Moshka from the Chabad community also boarded the train line and were not afraid on their way to Kiryat Motzkin.

"We heard about the event at the end of the holiday, but what are the chances of it happening twice?", they said.
