After almost seven hours, the Berlin Constitutional Court ended its oral hearing on the validity of the election to the House of Representatives.
It was initially unclear when a judgment would be pronounced.
The court will promptly name a date for this, said President Ludgera Selting on Wednesday at the end of the session.
According to the law, the judges have three months after the hearing to reach a verdict.
Berlin - At the start of the hearing, the court announced that, based on a preliminary assessment, it considered a complete repetition of the election to the Berlin House of Representatives to be necessary.
In particular, the senate administration and the state electoral authority had put forward numerous arguments to the effect that they believed this to be far-reaching.
Court President Selting assured that the lectures would be taken into account in the deliberations of the court.
