And the French Press Agency quoted a statement by the Belgian Public Prosecution as saying: “The security forces carried out about ten raids this morning targeting groups suspected of belonging to the extreme right in the region of Antwerp in the north of the country,” noting that one of the operations involved an exchange of fire, which led to the death of one person. .
The statement pointed out that the investigating judge in Antwerp issued orders for these operations after receiving information about the planning of a terrorist act by the Belgian extreme right.
