White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre tried to provide an explanation Wednesday for a strange incident in which President Joe Biden tried in vain to find Moshe in the audience at an official event, even though she was no longer alive.

Biden, who spoke at a conference held by the administration to promote nutritional health and eradicate hunger in the United States, wanted to thank those who helped promote legislation on the matter. At one point he addressed the audience and said, "I want to thank everyone here, including the legislators and governors on both sides of the fence, including Senator Barron and Senator Booker, as well as Congress Jackie to make this a reality, is Jackie here?
Jackie are you here?
I thought she would be here."
Biden apparently forgot for a moment that Jackie Walorsky, the Republican member of the House of Representatives from Indiana who was indeed among the initiatives of the legislation that funded the conference, was killed in a car accident last August along with two of her aides.

Biden probably realized at some point that he had embarrassed himself and continued his speech.
The White House later issued a statement that Biden and his wife, Jill, were "shocked and extremely saddened" by her death, and at the daily White House press briefing, spokeswoman Jean-Pierre said "Wolorski was in his thoughts" when he thought she was in the audience.
She added that Biden "wanted to honor her amazing work" and that he was preparing to welcome her family to an event at the White House where he was supposed to sign the law in question.
In the Republican party, they were quick to jump on the concept as the originator of a lot of loot.
Member of the House of Representatives Vicki Herzler from Missouri tweeted: "What a horrible and despicable farce".
