A tourist called the police in Murnau on Tuesday because he thought an apartment was being broken into.
But it was not like that.
Murnau
- A ladder leans against a balcony.
Several men use it to get to the first floor of a house.
This scene made a holiday guest from North Rhine-Westphalia on Tuesday around 5.30 p.m. suspicious.
The passer-by reacted at lightning speed, immediately called the police emergency number 110 and shared his observations.
Several patrols from the Murnau Police Inspectorate, with the support of the border police, immediately drove to the possible crime scene on Weilheimer Strasse in Murnau and surrounded the residential building.
The situation was resolved very quickly on site.
It only appeared to be a burglary.
The residents of the apartment on the first floor had left the key in the inside and let the door fall shut.
The apartment owner finally used the ladder to gain access to his own apartment, in which the balcony door was open.
