It gets more expensive for rail customers in winter: Deutsche Bahn announced price increases of an average of 4.9 percent when the timetable changed in December.
Berlin – Deutsche Bahn will increase long-distance transport prices by an average of 4.9 percent when the timetable changes in December.
The prices for a flex ticket alone will then increase by an average of 6.9 percent, as the company announced on Wednesday.
Overall, however, the railways remain “well below the inflation rate” with the price increases.
