After a year of work, Harry Helbling opens the "Devil8" in Altomünster.
Altomünster – “Devil8” may bring back memories for some Altomünster residents – the name of this discotheque won't mean anything to others.
After all, it has now been closed for almost 14 years.
But Harry Helbling is now revitalizing the discotheque at Stumpfenbacher Straße 52 as a music and culture pub and event location.
For more than a year, the 49-year-old from Petershausen has been working hard with his team for the opening weekend from tomorrow, Friday, to October 2nd.
It has kept the red color on the walls and the decoration of devil heads and torches, just like the name of its predecessor.
But there's a lot that's new: "We installed a corner seat, created a lounge area on the stage, installed more lights, completely rebuilt a bar and brought many technical systems up to date," he enumerates.
The new bar owner is actually a trained master electrician, but has “been working in the nightlife for 13 years and thus gained experience”, as he says as he stands at the entrance next to a devil doll on the wall and an iron cage in front of the door.
Mainly, people can expect party music here.
You should spend a great night at reasonable prices.

Now he is looking forward to being the host himself in a few days.
For his three opening days he has planned an "80s, 90s and 2000s party", an "Ü30 party" and an "Outback Rock party".
"The program for the end of the year is already in place," he says.
A longtime friend takes care of the DJ booking.
Mallorca parties and "Neue-Deutsche-Härte" evenings are to follow soon, and live bands are also planned.
That means there is something for everyone.
Disco "Devil8" in Altomünster opens again after 14 years: That's all there is to it
“Mainly, people can expect party music here.
They should spend a great night at reasonable prices,” he sums up his motto.
On the menu are the classics such as beer, schnapps, mixed drinks and the wine spritzer.
The only thing he cannot offer is food because there is no kitchen.
"I try to have a food truck in front of the door on every opening day so that the guests can get something between their teeth," promises Helbling.
There are still a lot of little things to be done before the 320 square meter location can be danced, celebrated and drunk: Bake glasses, wash them, arrange drinks.
Friends of Helbling are just sticking devils and she-devils on the toilet doors and another colleague is working under the bar to make sure the ice machine works.
Although he has enough staff for the time being, Helbling is always happy to have reinforcements.
The opening hours are every Friday, Saturday and days before public holidays from 9 p.m.
The program will be announced at www.devil8.de and on the Instagram channel.
