The Donetsk People's Regional Defense Office reported that two civilians were injured in the republic's territory as a result of Ukrainian shelling on residential areas during the past day.
"During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian shelling on several areas in the Donetsk People's Republic resulted in the injury of two civilians," the office said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel and carried by Russia Today.
Two days ago, the forces command in Donetsk announced the death of one person and the wounding of 8 others as a result of Ukrainian shelling targeting the territory of the republic.
